Amazon Fire TV Stick

The new Amazon Fire TV Stick was delivered to us today (thank you, Amazon, for arranging Sunday deliveries with the USPS) and I’ve set it up on the TV in our room.

Back in October, I believe, Amazon announced the coming release of their Fire TV Stick and for 2 days only offered it for $19 instead of the regular retail price of $40, so Cindy and I ordered two of them; one to use here and one for me to take with me on the road when I’m traveling.

Now we can watch streaming videos from both our Amazon Prime account and our Netflix account on the larger TV screen instead of the smaller laptop or iPad screens. What a difference!

We’re late adopters, having passed on earlier opportunities to buy a Chromecast or Roku stick, but it looks like we’re going to enjoy our Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Awesome! I am pretty sure the TV here doesn’t have a USB port so I won’t be getting one for quite a while!

Lol, yeah I’m SURE that TV doesn’t have a USB port.
