Most people who know me know that my father-in-law was a POW for 6 ½ years in Vietnam. He served with distinction both before and after that life-altering event and even today, at the age of 79, carries those memories with him.
Today, especially, I honor the service and sacrifice he made for his country and the freedoms we enjoy.
Please take at least a few moments today to remember, honor and thank veterans for their service to our country.
