Super Bowl Radio Shack Commercial

I say, without regret, that I did not watch one moment of the Super Bowl last night. My interest in either team was minimal (though I was hoping the underdog Seahawks would win) and, considering all the posts on Facebook and Twitter, it became obvious early on what the outcome would be.

But it wasn’t just the game that was blowing up on social media. Lots of posts and tweets were about the commercials, which have become almost as much of a draw (and sometimes a greater one) as the game. And of all the commercials it was the one for Radio Shack that seemed to be the front leader most of the night.

So when it showed up in my feed this afternoon I decided to take a look at it. I have no idea what the other commercials were like, but this one WAS entertaining. I mean, who can’t get excited about the 80’s? Especially if you lived through them. Especially if the music is “Workin’ For The Weekend”!!

My favorites were Hulk Hogan, Sgt Slaughter, Dee Snider, The California Raisins, Ponch and the Delorean at the end. Who or what were yours?
