I’ve posted before, here and here, that I have been reading old comic books that I read when I was a kid. One of my favorites that I’m REALLY enjoying is the original run of Amazing Spider-Man comics that began publishing in 1963, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Steve Ditko. I loved Ditko’s quirky art (though later, when John Romita took over the art chores in issue #39, it would always be Romita who was THE Spider-Man artist in my mind and in the minds of many others) and got a real kick when I came across this full page pinup of Spidey by Ditko in one of the issues I was reading.
